The Art of Tarot Reading 5 Week Course

Cartomancy and the Tarot have been used for centuries, in some form or another, to help bring clarity and inspiration to individuals all over the world. Whether you are looking to add to your mystic toolbox for personal exploration or for professional purposes, this class will help bring some clarity and support you on the deeply fascinating and fulfilling path of working with the Tarot.

This is a 5 week course in which we will meet once a week. Classes are on Thursdays from 7:30pm - 9:00pm. Dates will be June 18th, June 25th, July 2nd, July 9th, and July 16th. Please be sure you can attend all of the dates as there will not be any opportunity for a make up class.

We will be covering:

• A brief history and basic structure of the tarot, as well as how to choose and work with a Tarot deck. 

• Becoming familiar with both the Major and Minor Arcana

• Characteristics and elements of each suit

• Zodiacal and numerology energies within the Tarot

• Forecasting, timing, and reviewing the past 

• Reading for personal insight or for others

….And much more!

Each week will build upon the previous, as you gain the confidence to build your personal methodology for working and connecting with the Tarot.

Whether you are completely new to the concept of Tarot, are looking to strengthen your understanding and skills, are a seasoned practitioner with a deep love of the tarot, or are just curious, we welcome you to explore and share this wonderful tool for insight and magick! 

**To ensure that all students are able to work together and deepen their experience the following is required:

• A complete and full color, classic Rider Waite Tarot deck. Each student will receive a complimentary Rider Waite Tarot deck to work with during the course and it will be yours to keep at the end of the course. There will be a few color variations to choose from. We just ask that you please use the decks provided for the course so that everyone is on the same page.

You will need to bring:

• A basic spiral bound notebook that will be used for the duration of the class (notations and practice readings will be recorded and referenced later during class). 

• A basic set of highlighters (preferably 4 colors but if you can only find 2 that works too!)

We will also provide refreshments and treats at each class. Feel free to bring any snacks or treats to share if you would like.

The fee of $225 covers all class materials provided and instruction for all 5 weeks, and the tarot deck you will get to keep. Group size is limited to 13 participants. Each participant needs to have their own ticket!

We can accept cancellations with a full refund up to 1 week prior to the first class date. After this date no refunds and no exceptions can be given as we have invested in the supplies and held your spot. Please be sure all 5 dates work within your schedule before signing up as there will be no opportunity for a make up class. Thank you for your understanding!
